Anti-materie

Volgens de natuurkunde bestaat er van elk soort deeltje een antideeltje, dat een aantal fysische eigenschappen hetzelfde heeft, maar ook een aantal precies tegengesteld. Deze deeltjes, en materie die hieruit is samengesteld, heten antimaterie. Als een deeltje met zijn antideeltje botst, annihileren ze elkaar.
